This bold experiment tests whether living with a different family for a term can radically transform an underperforming teen into a dream student.
Exam time is difficult for any teenager; some do well while others struggle. One of the factors is believed to be parental influence. In one school, two underachieving teens move out of their own homes, and in with the family of an A-grade student of the same year. For half a term, they live by completely new rules and follow the same strict routine as their fellow pupil. There are curfews, homework and sharing household chores to contend with as well as differing family values and lifestyle. At the end of the term, will a revolutionary change in family life bring about a lasting change in their results and future?
