Going behind the scenes as navy recruits become sailors.

The series sets sail aboard HMS Raleigh, one of the oldest institutions at the heart of navy training, as group of young recruits are put through an intense 10-week training course.

This diverse group of young men and women, with their sights set on a navy career, are pushed to the limit as they attempt to join this top establishment. Through a combination of fixed rig cameras and crews, the series captures their experiences and the gruelling process they endure to in order to survive and pass as fully qualified ship mates.

It’s an emotional, yet heart-warming insight of a new generation making a life at sea.

The UK transmission version of the series is titled Royal Navy School.
