Twofour Rights secures 140 hours of sales across Asia, Middle East and Africa ahead of Asia TV Forum

Twofour Group’s factual and factual entertainment brands have been in high demand with international broadcasters ahead of Asia TV Forum later this month. 

 

ITV Choice for Asia, Middle East and Africa has struck a deal to air new seasons of the hit factual entertainment format What Would Your Kid Do? and international best seller This Time Next Year. Both shows captured audiences in excess of 3 million in the UK and will return to ITV with brand new commissions in early 2019. In addition to the package deal, experimental life series Second Chance Summer has also been acquired.

 

AETN18 Media Pvt Ltd (A+E Networks India) has secured the rights to a high-volume package totalling 90 hours of Twofour Group’s hit international brand Extreme Cake Makers for its FYI TV18 Channel.

Fatafeat Middle East has also signed a deal for series two of the award-winning series of show stopping cake creations.

 

Discovery will air the latest series of Impossible Engineering across Asia, and This Time Next Year in Taiwan. Thiswell-established science and history brand is currently airing series 4 in the UK, reaching a peak performance on UKTV of 25% over the slot (13 week average).

 

Meanwhile Tanweer Enlightenment has acquired a package of history and travel shows, including Impossible Engineering 1 & 2, Kate Humble: Living With Nomads and Lost World of Pompeii. 

 

Sales were brokered by Senior Sales Executive Rob Bassett as he prepares to attend Asia TV Forum (Stand K22) offering a brand-new slate of formats and finished shows, plus returning titles that equates to more than 1300 hours of content.

The titles include new cooking competition format Beat The Chef (w/t), high-octane challenge format Take The Tower, as well as factual shows Death and Destruction: Nature’s Revenge (4 x 60’), When Demolitions Go Wrong (2 x 60’), and new luxury special The World’s Most Extraordinary Christmas Dinners.
