In a first deal with the territory, leading free to air broadcaster Channel One, will make their own local versions of Twofour Group’s What Would Your Kid Do? and Change Your Tune.

The latest commissions will start production shortly with seasons of 8 episodes of each title to air later this year.

What Would Your Kid Do? has become another globetrotting format for Twofour, with commissions in nine territories, including Belgium, Turkey, Hungary and Serbia as well as options in Canada and India. More than 250 million minutes have been viewed globally on YouTube since its launch in 2018.

The hit format challenges parents to guess how their children will behave in a variety of classroom challenges and real-world activities. In studio, the host observes alongside the parents as they try to predict what their child will do in each new situation, providing a fascinating, heart-warming and often hilariously surprising insight into the minds of children. The UK version, hosted by Jason Manford, attracted 3.9 million viewers for its launch episode and 18% share, smashing the ITV slot average and making it the best performing new factual entertainment show on ITV in almost a year. A new season two begins in the UK this spring once again hosted by comedian Jason Manford.

Change Your Tune forms part of the time travel television genre pioneered by Twofour following the originator, This Time Next Year. In the musical gameshow format, five truly terrible singers compete in a feel-good celebratory show that aims to ‘change their tune’, revealing hit-after-hit of dramatic and heart-warming live musical performances.

Eniela Bella, VP Sales said: “To have one format commissioned in a territory is a delight, but we are thrilled to have two commissioned at once. They are very different formats but with an obvious global appeal and there’s lots more to come from these in the future.”
